Ladies Day Away
FROM GROANING TO GLORY - God is at work!
Join us for a day of encouragement, laughter, games, friendship, crafts, prayer, and time in the Word.
We will spend time unpacking Romans 8:18-30 where we will be reminded that although we live in a broken world where suffering and weakness are real, none of it is meaningless or unseen—God is at work even in our groaning. Suffering is not the final word—glory is.
WHEN: Saturday, March 21, 8am – 9pm
WHERE: FBC (3806 Portland Ave, Tacoma)
COST: $30 (scholarships available)
WHO: All women out of high school and older. Nursing babies are welcome; note that there is no childcare.
Again this year, we will have a book table with several books related to our topic. Each book will have a suggested donation; please bring cash, check, or your debit / credit card if you think you might be interested.
Please sign up by Sunday, March 15 so we can be prepared with food, activities, and handouts. If you have questions, please reach out to Sheri Pedersen.

Coffee Connections
Looking for opportunities to connect with other women at FBC?
Consider joining us for Coffee Connections! Modeled after “Dinners for Eight”, these groups of Coffee for Four will gather once a month over coffee (or tea, or cheesecake, or a good slice of pizza) for 3-4 months. After the first several months, we will shuffle the women to combine new groups of about four women.
The time commitment is small, but the encouragement can be huge as you laugh, pray, and share some life together. Please sign up by the end of December.

Women's Bible Study
Join us on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30, September - April for encouragement from God's Word and fellowship with each other.
Come at 9:15 for coffee and snacks; we plan to start our study promptly at 9:30.
In a time when “everyone did what was right in their own eyes,” God’s faithfulness never failed. This year we will journey through the book of Judges—exploring cycles of rebellion, redemption, and God’s unshakable mercy—and into the story of Ruth, where hope blooms in the darkest places. Together, we’ll discover how God raises up ordinary people for extraordinary purposes, and how His grace meets us in our own sinfulness and brokenness, calling us to courage, faith, and steadfast hope.
The first half of our time is spent together in the Fireside Room for Bible Study together. Then we split into small groups for discussion, prayer, laughter, and encouragement. Childcare is provided.
