Arlington Resident Welcome Baskets

We are encouraging all of us at FBC to consider participating in providing welcome baskets for the first time renters at the Arlington apartments across the street. You can do this in your small groups, friend group, or individually. If you want to work with a team of others please contact Rich Berghammer and he can connect you. You can use the shopping list below. If you can't help in but still want to donate to purchasing supplies for the welcome baskets you can designate giving on your check, or use an envelope or use our online giving and choose Welcome baskets.

Tacoma Rescue Mission Needs

Hello FBC! Richard Berghammer here. The Tacoma Rescue Missions (TRM) has been blessed by all the donated supplies that have been coming in steadily since the request was made.
TRM has expressed their thanks numerous times to pass along to all of us at FBC. They have asked for us to pray for God’s peace, for both residents and staff.

Change in the Needs List

The shelter supply shipments are starting to increase, to the point where their current shortages are as follows:
  • Boxes of Nitrile Disposable Gloves, Sizes S, M, L, XL – Costco Business Center, Various Hardware Stores.
  • Antibacterial Disinfectant Wipes (not gel bottles), Both Hand and Surface, Any Brand but Comparable to the Clorox, Germ-X and Wet Ones, in Canisters or Individually Wrapped – Fred Meyer, Safeway, Walmart, etc.
  • Masks - N95, P100 – Hardware Stores

If you have already picked up something that is not on the new list, you can still drop them at FBC because those items will still be used.
