Fellowship Bible Church is a community of people gathered by God to follow Jesus.
What To Expect
Our service starts at 10 am, but most FBC people like to arrive about a half hour early to enjoy free espresso and donuts and catch up with friends. This is also when parents can check their children in for Sunday school (ages infant – middle school). When the service begins, we sing a worship song or two and then open our Bibles. We teach the Bible expositionally, meaning our sermons go through books of the Bible consecutively: verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book (not skipping anything!). You can see where we are in our current sermon series here. After the sermon (which usually lasts 45-50 mins), we respond to God’s word together in worship, communion (twice a month), and prayer. The service usually wraps up around 11:30 am, but fellowship continues afterward, so don’t feel a need to rush off! We are looking forward to meeting you at an FBC service soon.
Do You Pass a Plate for Offering?
No. Giving money is an important part of our worship, but it’s not part of our worship service. There are boxes in the back for any who wishes to support God’s work here, but no one will feel pressured to give money or singled out if you don’t.
What To Wear
On a typical Sunday at FBC, you’ll see some people wearing t-shirt and shorts, others a shirt and tie….most are somewhere in between. So just wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready to worship.
What Is Your Worship Like?
Our music is a blend of the best of traditional hymns with today's praise music, with a particular focus on lyrics that glorify God. You are free to express yourself in worship in whatever way is comfortable for you and honoring to God. You are invited to celebrate communion with us if you are follower of Jesus Christ.
What About My Kids?
Like Jesus, we welcome children here at FBC. There is free childcare available for infants and toddlers, and Sunday school classes available to all children up to middle schoolers. Just mention to the greeters at the door that you have children to check in and they will direct you toward the check in tables. Around 11 am, children will join their parents in the main auditorium for worship (optional childcare is still available for toddlers and younger).
Who We Are
We are a local church whose mission is to be a beacon for the truth of Jesus Christ in all things.
Our chief aim is to glorify God (1 Corinthians 10:31; Ephesians 1:3-14). We fulfill this aim by serving our community and building each other up in God’s word and fellowship. We also engage in worldwide evangelism through partnerships with local indigenous missionaries in Africa, Asia, and Central America.
