Do you have clothing that you bought for an occasion and have not gotten to wear again, or items you wore in a different season of life?  Freshen up your wardrobe by bringing clothing to swap on Saturday, May 3 at 10am.  Not interested in swapping, but you’d still like to come for the fellowship?  You’re welcome to join us!

WHEN: Saturday, May 3rd, 10am until about noon
WHERE: FBC Fireside Room
WHO: Women ages high-school and beyond
We ask you to bring a snack to share if you are able.

Note: There will not be childcare for this event. Nursing babies are welcome.

HOW IT WORKS

Bring up to 30 pieces of freshly washed clothing with no rips, tears, stains, missing buttons or
non-functional zippers (children’s clothing not included in this number, but we ask they have the same general condition as listed).

    • We are asking these are presorted by size and gender
Please no swimwear or underwear

ADDITIONAL ITEMS WELCOME
  • Shoes (up to 5 pairs)
  • Unlimited accessories (think scarves, jewelry, hair clips, belts, sunglasses, hats, handbags, watches, etc.)

DROPPING OFF CLOTHING

Please arrive at 10am to drop off clothing.  If you have items to donate but won’t be able to attend the event, you can bring them to church the Sunday before, or to Women’s Bible Study the Tuesday prior the event.

All sizes, styles, and seasons are welcome. Please presort by tops and bottoms.

Please presort children’s clothing by size and gender.

“Shopping” will start shortly after all the clothes have been put out on the tables.

There will be dressing rooms with mirrors so you can try items on.

Please bring a bag, box, or tote for all your finds.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO WHAT IS LEFT OVER?

All clothing left over at the end of the swap will be donated.
All formal dresses will be donated to:
Their Mission: Fighting human trafficking and exploitation through awareness and resources for survivors. The sale of dresses helps to fund the ministry.
Maternity and baby clothes will be donated to:

Mission Thrift provides crucial financial support to the Tacoma Rescue Mission’s life-changing programs, services, and resources.
