Christmas at FBC

Christmas Celebration on December 14 | 10am

Join us for a joyful and uplifting celebration as we gather to reflect on the powerful impact of the Christmas story and its meaning for our lives today. Together, we’ll enjoy the beautiful harmonies of our adult choir, and the energy and enthusiasm of our children as they share songs celebrating the birth of Jesus.

(If you have children who will be singing, please have them arrive at church by 9:40 each Sunday to practice.  Thank you!)

Festival of Lessons & Carols on December 14 | 6pm

Get ready for one of the most joyful nights of the season! Join us at FBC for a Festival of Lessons and Carols — a heartwarming evening where you are part of the music! Through nine powerful lessons and carols, we’ll journey together through the story of Jesus’ birth.

Our adult choir, children’s voices, and the congregation will fill the sanctuary with song and celebration. It’s a glorious night of worship that will lift your spirit and prepare your heart for Christmas.  Bring your neighbors, friends, and family — this is one Christmas event you won’t want to miss!

Carols in the Round on December 21 | 10am

Come experience the warmth of family at Carols in the Round. This unique gathering centers around a piano placed in the heart of the room, with chairs encircling it to create an intimate, joyful atmosphere. We invite everyone to share in the celebration by requesting their favorite Christmas carols. Between songs, we’ll pause to reflect on the profound meaning of Jesus’ birth and the hope it brings to the world.

Children and adults alike will have the opportunity to share their talents, performing special musical selections that celebrate the joy of Christ’s coming.  We’ll conclude the morning with a lively and interactive rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas. Everyone is invited to act out each part of the song, filling the room with shared laughter.  We hope to see you there!

(If you have a song to share, please contact Bruce Stabbert.)

NOTE: there will be no Sunday School classes.
